Brands I Like

These are brands I personally like or have been interested in because they seem more aligned with cleaner beauty, better ingredients, and more thoughtful formulas.

Toups and Co

Toups & Co is one of the brands I really like because their formulas feel more rooted in simple, traditional ingredients with a modern beauty approach.

They offer makeup and skincare, and I like that the brand leans into a more natural, nontoxic direction without feeling boring.

Why I like them: the brand feels earthy, practical, and ingredient-conscious without being overly complicated.

Olivia Care

Olivia Care is one of my affordable body care finds, and I especially love the Tahitian Coconut Nourishing Body Oil. It comes in a glass bottle, feels moisturizing without being too heavy, and gives that soft, glowy skin feeling after a shower.

I also like that it includes Monoi Flower, which is often associated with soothing, nourishing body care. As someone with psoriasis, I’m always drawn to products that feel calming, moisturizing, and less irritating on angry skin.

Taylor Made Organics

Taylor Made Organics is another brand I like because they focus on organic, naturally clean skincare and cosmetics.

They also have makeup, which is nice because clean skincare is usually easier to find than clean makeup. Finding makeup that performs well and has better ingredients is a whole separate mission.

Why I like them: they seem to care about education, cleaner ingredients, and giving people alternatives to conventional beauty products.

Farmacy

Farmacy is a more mainstream clean skincare brand, and I like that they focus on ingredient transparency and sustainability.

They are not the same style as Toups or Taylor Made Organics. Farmacy feels more modern skincare, while Toups and Taylor Made feel more natural/organic beauty. I think there is room for both, depending on the product.

Why I like them: Farmacy feels approachable if someone is newer to clean beauty and wants products that still feel polished and easy to use.

BYOMA

BYOMA is one of my favorite affordable skincare brands for barrier support and hydration.

I especially love the BYOMA Hydrating Serum. It feels lightweight, layers well, and gives my skin that hydrated, calmer feeling without being heavy.

BYOMA is easy to find, budget-friendly, and a good option when I want simple everyday skincare that still feels effective.

I still check each product’s ingredient list first, especially for ingredients I personally avoid, but the serum has been a favorite.

Tanologist Face Tan

The Tanologist Face Tanning Mist is one of the few tanning products I’ve found that gives a nice medium glow without looking streaky or orange.

I like it because it is easy to use, builds gradually, and works well when I want a little color without doing a full self-tan routine.

A big note: I still check Tanologist products individually because many of their products do contain phenoxyethanol — aka PhenoFucksAll — and that is a no for me.

But this facial mist does not have it, which is why it made the list.

If you want an easy, natural-looking face tan without streaks, this one is a good affordable option.
